Every contribution you make to the Victoria Memorial School, helps us offer better nutrition, better equipment and better opportunities to our boys.

Volunteer with us as a reader, writer or guide during competitive exams. Host conferences in our Standard Chartered Conference Centre – the charges- you pay are a welcome contribution. Place our students in productive careers. Spread awareness about the school. Donate generously – all donations towards the school corpus and new dining hall extension project are 100% tax exempted under Section 35AC of the Income Tax Act.

And if you’d like to sponsor a child, you can choose from:

Monthly sponsorship – Rs. 5,500 per month for education, boarding and lodging for one student.

Annual sponsorship – Rs. 65,000 per year for education, boarding and lodging for one student.

TAX EXEMPTIONS

The Victoria Memorial School for the Blind is notified by the Central Government under section 35 AC of the Income Tax Act for the financial years 2013-14, 2014-15 and 2015-16.

Donations to the School during the period covered by the notification are 100% tax deductible under Section 35AC or are eligible for a 100% tax exemption under Section 80 GGA of the Income Tax Act.

Donations exempted u/s 35 AC are project specific i.e.:
- Towards School Corpus
- Extension of New Dining Hall & Kitchen

Donations are also exempt under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act.
